  • Control the LoFi video from a right-click menu — Right-click the video on the LoFi page to play it faster or slower, jump back 15 seconds, start it over, switch to the next or previous track, or open it on YouTube. ⌥← and ⌥→ also skip 15 seconds.
  • Undo a deleted session or project — Deleted a session or a project in Statistics by mistake? Press ⌘Z, or choose Edit › Undo, and it comes back.

  • Sorting projects in Statistics works better — Dragging projects in the Statistics project bar is more reliable: the Free Flow chip can be moved like any project, and a chip no longer slips past the edge of the bar.

  • Try every feature free for 7 days — Focusito now starts with a 7-day free trial of everything, counted from the first time you open this version. After that, a one-time purchase unlocks every feature for good. Already bought Focusito? Everything stays unlocked. Had a paid subscription when 1.5 came out? Focusito is now yours for life, and the subscription won't renew. If anything looks locked, choose Unlock Full Version… from the gear menu and click Restore Purchase.
  • Listen to LoFi right in the timer — Open the LoFi page under the timer with the music note button at the bottom of the window. It streams from YouTube, so it needs an internet connection. Play, pause and switch tracks with the buttons at the top of the window, even when the page is closed.
  • See where your focus time goes — The Statistics page (the chart button at the bottom of the window) shows how long you focused and rested, each session with its planned and actual length, and Daily Totals for the last 7, 30 or 90 days.
  • Split your time by project — While the timer runs, click the project name at the bottom left of the window to pick a project, or choose New Project… to add one with its own color. Sessions without a project count as Free Flow.
  • Keep your Macs in step with iCloud — Your settings, projects and statistics sync through iCloud to every Mac where you use Focusito, and sessions from all of them add up in one history.
  • Pick up where you left off — If Focusito quits while the timer is running, for example when your Mac restarts or you press ⌘Q, it comes back with the timer paused and the same time left, as long as you open it again within 8 hours.
  • Mix in white, pink or brown noise — The Sounds page has three new tiles: White Noise, Pink Noise and Brown Noise.
  • Back up your statistics — In Settings › Statistics › Backup, click Export… and choose JSON or CSV. JSON keeps every session and project, and Import… brings it back on any Mac. CSV is a table for Numbers, Excel or an AI assistant. Import adds to the sessions you already have and saves a copy of your current statistics first.

Improvements

  • Change a running timer by 5 minutes — While the timer runs, the − and + buttons at the bottom of the window, or ↓ and ↑, take away or add 5 minutes without starting over, up to 60 minutes. The time you've already spent stays, and the session in Statistics follows the new length.
  • Choose how the window behaves while you focus — Turn on Keep timer on top in Settings › Behavior, or in the View menu, to keep the timer above other windows. The bottom panel now slides away when the timer starts and comes back when you press Stop; switch that off with Hide bottom panel while timer is running in the same tab. The window also opens where you last left it.
  • Audio pauses when headphones disconnect — When your Mac's sound output changes, for example when headphones disconnect, Focusito pauses the sounds and LoFi instead of playing them through the speakers. They resume when the same device comes back.
